West Coast Silver to Start Diamond Drill Program at Western Australia; Shares Up 15%

West Coast Silver (ASX:WCE) is set to start a diamond drill program covering up to 1,500 meters at its Elizabeth Hill project in Western Australia this month, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The drilling is designed to expand the existing footprint of the Elizabeth Hill silver mineralization down-dip and plunge of the historical Elizabeth Hill mine, the filing said.

Drilling will take about four to six weeks, with results expected to be received progressively in the second quarter of the year, per the filing.

Shares rose 15% in morning trade on Wednesday.
